Photographers GDPR policy – data policy from 25th May 2018

In line with the new GDPR legislation which comes into effect on 25th May, Bay Images Photography now has a new privacy policy in place and has made the required amendments to its contracts.

We will only collect basic personal data; this includes your name, address, telephone and email address to enable us to contact our clients for the purpose of their booking with us and to provide their images to them either via email or post.

We will need to keep copies of your booking with us for a minimum of 6 years for HMRC purposes. Your information will never be sold or given to any third parties (apart from PayPal and courier services). Messages and emails regarding your booking will be kept for a maximum of 12 months after your wedding date/photo session date.  After this time, all messages will be deleted.
