What photography format(s) do you use? 

We shoot digitally using professional DSLR cameras and lenses. We feel digital is more flexible in terms of creating more interesting, varied photographs for you.

How do I obtain a bespoke quotation if none of your packages suit me? 

We suggest that you contact us using the contact form on this site or phone us, providing as much information as you can (e.g. location, length of coverage). We can then prepare a quotation for you. Alternatively, we could arrange a meeting to discuss your requirements in person.

Will I have full copyright of my images?  

No - Full copyright remains with Bay Images Photography, but you will be granted a license to reproduce/print and copy event images for personal use.  

What are Coffee Table Books?

Photo books are increasingly popular nowadays. Rather than traditional albums where photographic prints are mounted onto pages, your photographs are printed directly onto the pages of the Photo book. We offer Coffee Table Books digitally printed on satin paper, hard cover with a gloss laminated wrap around image prices start at £100 for a 30 page book.

Do you offer discounts for late bookings?

We are happy to consider offering a discount for last-minute bookings. However, this is at our discretion and not guaranteed.

Do you offer discounts for mid-week bookings? 

We offer midweek and registry office packages with prices starting from £299 please contact us for a bespoke quote.

Do you only cover the Kent area? 

No. Although we are Kent based, we photograph weddings and civil ceremonies throughout the whole of the south. Prices quoted were applicable include travel up to 40 miles any mileage over this is charged at .25 pence per mile unless otherwise agreed

Are you insured?

Yes, we are fully insured.

How do I make a booking? 

If you decide you would like to book our services, we would send you a Booking Form and Contract to complete, sign and return. We would also request a booking deposit of 25% of your overall package price. The outstanding balance would then be due 6 weeks prior to the date of your wedding or civil ceremony.

Do you photograph events other than weddings? 

Yes, we are happy to cover weddings, civil partnership ceremonies, christenings, parties and others on request.

 LIGHTS PORTRAITS

How many photos do you take and how long is a session?

We generally take around 80 images during a 90 minute session.  We will select up to 45 images which will post edited and burnt at proof resolution on to a CD from which you can select your images.

Will there be anywhere for us to change clothes? 

Yes, but please come ready dressed for your session; you may bring a change of clothes if you require.  If you have any special interests or hobbies please feel free to bring them as props.

Why do you need my credit card details?

Just like booking a hotel room, this is a standard requirement. We take a non-refundable sitting fee and this secures your booking with us.
